Little Glastonboro: Festival Highlights

A day of live music and good times in Lancashire

The brief

Broaden was approached to capture Little Glastonboro, crafting this festival highlight video and shooting press-ready photos. The client was looking for a hype-reel which captured the best of the day and generated interest in future ticket sales through social media platforms. The sellout festival brought the Lancashire town of Littleborough to life, with a day of local live music, food and celebration.

The process

We adopted a lean approach with a quick turnaround to offer maximum impact and value for the clients:

  • Shoot day: Spending a full day at the festival allowed us to capture the evolution of the event, from local and acoustic acts in the day time through to the headline acts which drew impressive crowds in the evening, and everything in between
  • Photography: Along with capturing the event on video, Broaden produced a press-ready pack of images, shooting stills to accompany the film
  • Edit process: We combined the footage, an upbeat soundtrack and dynamic transitions to give viewers a sense of the energy from the event. The video was produced in-keeping with the existing brand identity and festival lookbook
The outcome

This short hype-reel was a huge success, helping the event to sell record numbers of pre-order tickets for the following year. It has been an invaluable social media tool, and one which can give audiences a sense of what to expect from Little Glastonboro.
